But first we need to say good bye to our Citroen. Shes been a beauty. Perhaps a little fuel thirsty but certainly a great car. She carried all of our luggage and went everywhere we asked her to go.
We didn't have to rush to get to the airport so we had a leisurely breakfast and worked out how to pack everything into our suitcases. We packed the car for the last time and Tony navigated out of a very tiny car park , for the last time.

It was only a short drive to the airport and the car return place. We said our farewells and went inside the airport. Its quite a small airport so easy to navigate. Were travelling with Air France and on a very small plane. The bag check in counter opened early and she was able to take our extra suitcase with no questions asked.

We boarded our little cigar shaped Bombardier plane and took our seats. Our head flight attendant kept us all entertained - he was very camp and reminded me of Liberace. Sadly alot of what he was saying was lost in translation but lots of the French passengers laughed alot and when we landed he got a rousing round of applause.
We picked up a taxi van pretty quickly and before we knew it we were at our hotel. Were staying at a Novotel hotel which is supposed to be a 4 star. I have to wonder how it got its rating when the airconditioning barely works. We had a late lunch / afternoon tea when we arrived and then decided to have room service for tea. Neither were very impressive which is a little disappointing.
What we do have here though is a pretty good view of the Eiffel Tower!
