May Day - a day of rest for all

Cant believe we've scored another European public holiday!  Today is May Day here - or Labour Day.  So everything is closed and is much quieter in the streets outside.  There is a massive event in the Tiergarten so glad we weren't riding there today! Of course there are still some tourists about but less than the last 2 days.

So, we decided it would be a day of rest for us too.  We still had to eat and drink so we made a couple of short trips outside for the vitals.

these were the vital supplies we needed
The rest of the day we lounged around and let our legs / bums recover watching AFL or movies that I bought with us.

We ventured out across the road for dinner to a pizza place- seemed to be the only place open.  Surprisingly we had an awesome meal.  Tony and I had Flammkuchen which is a German Pizza.  We also had some apple Strudel which was amazing too.
