After our horrendous sleep the night before we backed it up with another. This time we had new neighbours with a baby who cries a lot. I thought it was cats fighting overnight but its the baby. I just wanted to yell for gods sake feed it and change its nappy so it can sleep - but that wouldn't have been nice.
We were all feeling pretty flat so decided to have another rest day. We went as far as the local shops for lunch and drink supplies (our fridge doesn't work so cant store anything).
Late in the afternoon the lady from the hotel dropped by to check everyone's air-conditioning with the repair man as it seemed that there had been an issue with the aircon not working - SHOCK!! They had supposedly fixed it and amazingly we suddenly had cool air in our room. I rigged up a cooling system fore the pepsi max - wrapped in a cold towel sitting on the aircon vent and voila cold drink! I told them about the fridge not working again and they kinda ignored it. Oh well Ill leave the milk in there and then see how long it takes them to work out then that it doesn't work :-)
We decided to go to our local for our last meal here in Florence and were so excited to try another selection of food. Arrghhh its not our day. We got the old grumpy waitress who seemed not to want to serve us at all. The food was still good but she poured cold water on our night. So much so we didnt even take photos of the food....
